I have been the victim of many kernel panics on my Mac Book Pro recently. The crash report always has this in it:

com.apple.driver.AirPort.Atheros(230.8.5)@0xdac000
dependency: com.apple.iokit.IONetworkingFamily(1.5.1)@0x64f000 dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily(2.2)@0x5b1000 dependency: com.apple.iokit.IO80211Family(160.2)@0xa1a000

I’ve noticed that right before it panics, sometimes my wireless network connection drops. There also seems to be a way to re-activate your wireless conection, but I don’t know why this works. I’ve created a quick screencast to demonstrate what happens.

I’m not sure what happens, but going to the Airport menu makes it works again… Until I get another panic. I hate to be without my Mac, but I may just have to give it to Apple, so they can give it the tender love it needs right now.
